FAQ - Frequently asked questions
On every print of the QR-Code, you can find a code written in latin characters and numbers (alphanumeric). It doesn't matter if you own a keychain, necklace or the standard labels, they all have this readable code. You also find the address of this webpage (www.qr-help.com) on all these elements.
If your rescuer isn't able to read your QR-Code because it has been demolished in the accident or the rescuer simply doesn't own a smartphone, he may use a standard computer to enter the latin-code into the emergency-field on the top every page of our website. (Yellow area) He then opens exactly the same page as he would by scanning the QR-Code. He may call another person to have a look at that site too. Usually, in the case of a real emergency, the Public-safety answering point (PSAP) (Lux: CSU 112) should be able to help.
The allergies, medical conditions, medicaments and vaccinations which are already saved in our system have been translated by an administrator. In the case that you insert new content in our system, the content is firstly only shown to you and in the language you've entered it. Thereafter, an administrator will translate the content in the next days, in the case of a medical condition, verify the ICD-10 code and activate the content for other users. Then the content will simply be visible in the standard list and won't differ from the other content. All this will allow us to build up a progressive allergies, vaccination, medical condition and vaccination database so that users don't always have to enter every single detail. Of course we want to ensure you that all information remain confidential and anonymous.
What does that mean to users?
The user only has to enter the content in the dedicated field in his own language. Please enter all the details (name, ICD-10 code, ...)
An account is only made for one person, the person who registers with its name. If you want to subscribe for multiple people, you have to create an account for each user and submit orders with the respective account.
This is actually the only possibility, a better one is being planned.
One month before the expiration of your subscription, you'll get an E-Mail reminding you to renew your subscription. Then, if you don't renew it you'll get an E-Mail again, one week before the subscription's expiration. You'll have during all that time a warning in your account.
If you renew your subscription before its expiration, your help page will run without any interruption. The expiration date will be postponed by as many years as you selected during your renewal.
Not renewing your subscription will cause a blocking of your help page until you subscribe again. Your data will stay saved on our servers for the case that you would want to subscribe again. If you whish to remove all your data, you have to delete your account by using the dedicated function in your user panel.
No, this is not possible. Once you have paid your subscription and set, you won't be able to get the money back.
You can use QR-Help everywhere in the world where you have internet access.
