Do the labels leave residue? How to remove it?
No, in general, the labels can be removed without residue. If you want to remove a label from an object, try to get under one of the four corners with your fingernail or a thin tool and slowly pull off the label.
Depending on how long the stickers have been on your object and which external influences (UV-radiation, chemicals, heat, ...) they have been exposed to, it is possible that adhesive residues remain. Do not scrape them off with a sharp or pointed tool, as this may damage your support. Instead, remove the adhesive residues with 70% ethanol or 70% isopropanol from the pharmacy.
For plastic objects, we do not recommend using acetone or nail polish remover to remove adhesive residues. These liquids can damage plastic, resulting in a rough surface. In addition, it cannot be ruled out that their use may also lead to discolouration.
